Baby Girl came into our rescue program on December 7, 2010. Baby Girl came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with 3 other horses. Baby Girl is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Arabian Cross, Mare. She is estimated to be 14 years of age. Baby Girl is a sweetheart but can be a bit hard to catch from time to time. She is estimated to be about 14 -14.2 hands tall. She loads in a trailer. Baby Girl is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and attention. I would recommend some tuning up time and building a relationship before taking her on a trail ride, etc., Baby Girl can be a bit jumpy, but she has more confidence under saddle, than she does on the ground. I feel that she has been handled pretty rough in the past and she just needs someone to show her love, patience and trust. She needs some work with trimming her back feet also. She does not trust anyone to handle her feet and will require someone with patience and daily work to gain her trust and allow her feet to be picked up properly. She is very smart and I believe that she wants to give of herself, she is just scared. She has gained a lot of weight since she first arrived at the shelter. Baby Girl is the mother to yearling Dante. Baby Girl has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl a forever, loving home, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come see Baby Girl.
